A pocket sized book of aphorisms based on both the philosophic concepts of a filter—or umwelt—and the digital tools that have become ubiquitous on virtually every device we encounter. The book combines writings by myself, derived from research founded in phenomenology, remediation, popular culture, and design. Sections are divided by an assortment of Madonna lyrics which served as an important filter in many of the accompanying visual works througout the book.
